Uber: An Innovative Deregulated Business or an Infringer of the Free Competition?

Abstract:      Uber, an application developed in the US, is presented as a new and practical platform that makes easier to get safe and punctual transportation; however, this application has been involved in various conflicts in different countries around the world. This article aims to see how it was implemented in Colombia and whether the use of this application constitutes unfair competition according to the provisions of Law 256 of 1996.
