Stijn Broecke
Stijn Broecke is a Labour Market Economist in the Employment Analysis and Policy division of the Directorate of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs at the OECD.
He holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
He has over 10 years’ experience working in government (Mozambique Ministry of Health, UK Civil Service) and international organisations (African Development Bank and OECD). During this time, he has worked on a wide range of topics, including: health, pensions, child poverty, higher education, youth employment, minimum wages and skills.
Stijn joined IZA as a Research Fellow in July 2016.
