Ruben Guerrero
Ruben Guerrero is the Principal at Global Economics Group in Mexico City where he has provided economic advice to companies in cases of merger control, vertical restraints, abuse of dominance and several other antitrust issues including competition on digital platforms. He also has made a research on regulations in the telecoms.
Previous to joining Global Economics Group he was Director of Strategy of Monopolistic Practices and Illicit Concentration in the Federal Telecommunications Institute of Mexico. He also was Director in the Federal Competition Commission of Mexico where led investigations on abuse of dominance and vertical restraints on different sectors as retail, telecom, air transport, etc.
He holds a Master's degree in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, a Master's degree in Economics from El Colegio de México, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
