Dr. Jorge Padilla is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Compass Lexecon Europe. Previously the European Chief Executive Officer at LECG, Dr. Jorge Padilla advises clients on a variety of competition policy and intellectual property issues covering a wide range of industries including electricity, entertainment, media, retailing, technology, telecommunications, and transport.

He has advised on various cases and given expert testimony before the Cypriot, Dutch, French, German, Irish, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and UK competition authorities, as well as in cases before the European Commission. Dr. Padilla has also submitted written testimony to the European Court of First Instance and the UK Competition Appeals Tribunal in state aid, cartel, merger control and abuse of dominance cases. He has also given expert testimony in various civil litigation (damages) and international arbitration cases.
