Christoph van Opstal is a Senior Associate in the antitrust and competition team of Fangda Partners in Hong Kong. Christoph assists clients before China’s antitrust agencies across the full range of competition law, including merger control, enforcement litigation and investigations, strategic advice, and counseling on risk management strategies as well as compliance and training. Prior to joining Fangda, Christoph worked in the elite antitrust and competition practice of a Magic Circle firm in London, where he represented clients before the European Commission and the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority. Christoph qualified in Australia and originally practiced in the competition practice of a top-tier law firm in Sydney.
