Bruce Lyons is a Professor of Economics in the School of Economics at the University of East Anglia and Deputy Director of the ESRC Centre for Competition Policy in East Anglia, Great Britain.

Bruce Lyons' research interests include economics of competition policy; European industrial structure; contract theory and actual contracts between firms. Within the CCP, his research projects include the competition effects of merger remedies and the economic appraisal of mergers. He is Associate Editor of Economica and formerly Editor of Journal of Industrial Economics. He is a part-time Member of the UK Competition Commission, and a member of the Economic Advisory Group for Competition (to the European Commission).
