Anna Tzanaki
Anna Tzanaki is a Lecturer at the University of Leeds and former Senior Lecturer at Lund University Faculty of Law, where she was part of the Master’s Programme in European Business Law. In addition, she is a Senior Research Fellow at the UCL Centre for Law, Economics & Society and an Associate Editor at Competition Policy International (CPI), co-editing the CPI Europe Column. Her main research interests lie in the areas of antitrust/ competition law and policy, regulation, law & economics, corporate law and governance, and comparative law.
Anna holds a Ph.D. from the University College London (UCL) Faculty of Laws, an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School and an LL.B. from the University of Athens Law School. She has been a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School for a year and half of her doctoral studies. She also studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin as an Erasmus exchange student during her undergraduate studies. She has held various scholarships throughout her academic career. Her doctoral research was supported by a full UCL Faculty of Laws Scholarship for Graduate Research and by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Her research visit at Harvard was funded by the UCL Faculty of Laws, PhD Research Impact & Innovation Fund.
She has previously worked within the Competition/Antitrust Group of Linklaters LLP in London, UK and at the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, Switzerland. She has also worked as a Teaching Fellow at the UCL Faculty of Laws. She is admitted to practice in New York (USA) and in Athens (Greece) (not practicing). Anna is fluent in English, German, French and Greek.
