Anjali Patel, Counsel for Antitrust and Strategic Projects at Verizon.
Anjali Patel counsels her clients on all aspects of antitrust law, including transactional work, litigation and compliance, as it relates to Verizon’s many businesses. Prior to joining Verizon, Anjali was in the antitrust and competition practice of a private law firm in Washington, D.C., where she represented clients in a variety of industries. In addition, Anjali has represented pro bono clients on a variety of matters, including appeals from denials of Social Security disability benefits, nonprofit corporate governance, applications for tax-exempt status, asylum applications and immigration advocacy, and serving as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in domestic custody disputes. Anjali also participates in various diversity, mentoring and women’s initiatives, and has previously served on the Advisory Board for Children’s Law Center. She holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia.
