Andrew Sweeting
Dr. Sweeting is currently serving as the Director of the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission. He is currently on leave from his position as Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, and he has previously served on the faculty at Northwestern University and Duke University. He is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He has published his research in a number of leading economics journals, including "Econometrica", the "American Economic Review" and the "Journal of Political Economy", and has served as an Editor of the "Journal of Industrial Economics". He received his Ph.D. in economics from MIT in 2004.
