Ana Sofia Rodrigues was appointed Chief Economist and Head of the Studies and Market Monitoring Bureau of the Portuguese Competition Authority in October 2015, after a year as a Senior Competition Expert at the OECD Competition Division. Before that she held various positions at the Portuguese Competition Authority, where she started her career in Competition Policy in 2006; she was a senior economist at the Mergers Department and an economic advisor to the Board.
