2019 CRESSE Events

Please find information below on this year’s CRESSE Summer SchoolConference, and Lawyers Course in early July in the island of Rhodes in Greece. CRESSE is a Network of academic economists and of professionals practicing in Competition or Regulatory Authorities, in consultancies and in law firms, with an interest in Competition Policy and Regulation. 

The 2019 CRESSE Events will take place in Rhodes island, Greece, from 29th June to 11th July, 2019.

CRESSE Conference 2018

The 14th CRESSE International Conference will take place from 5th  to 7th July and the Keynote Speakers will be:

The CRESSE annual Conference offers exposure to a, probably unparalleled, breadth of academic research in competition and regulation, combined with topical policy discussions and insights into the most recent developments in the main jurisdictions around the world. (2019 Confirmed Speakers)

The 14th CRESSE Summer School (mainly targeted to economists) will be held from 29th June to 11th July, the 6th CRESSE Lawyers Course (mainly targeted to lawyers) from 5th July to 8th July and the 2nd CRESSE Advanced Short Courses (mainly targeted to senior economists working in Competition or in other Regulatory Authorities) from 8th to 9th July.


The CRESSE Summer School & Advanced Short Courses

The CRESSE Summer School (29th June – 11th July 2019, Rhodes, Greece) is designed for professionals working in the wider areas of Competition Policy and Network Industry Regulation. The School provides a comprehensive account of the most up to date developments in economic theory, empirical analysis, legislation and policy in the areas of Competition and Regulation. CRESSE also offers a number of Advanced Short Courses (8th – 9th July 2019, Rhodes, Greece) in specific topics of Competition Policy. The CRESSE Lawyers Course

The CRESSE Lawyers Course on “The Role of Economics in Competition Law and Practice” (5th July – 8th July 2019, Rhodes, Greece) is targeted to lawyers practicing in competition law as counsels, enforcers or judges or in another field of law in which knowledge of economics is helpful.
